How to update Samsung Internet
Updating is free, takes about a minute, and your open tabs are safe.
On Android
- Open the Samsung Internet page in Google Play with the button below.
- If you see an Update button, tap it. If you see Open instead, you are already up to date.
- No luck? In the Play Store, tap your profile picture at the top right, choose Manage apps & device, and update Samsung Internet from there.
Good to know
- Updating is free and usually takes about a minute.
- On Samsung phones, updates can also arrive through the Galaxy Store: open Galaxy Store, tap the Menu button, then Updates. It is fine to use whichever store shows the update first.
- Samsung Internet is a phone and tablet browser — there is no desktop version to update.
